in 2020, under coronavirus lockdown,
hastings jack in the green went fully virtual for the first time ever.
relive the event here!
Huge thanks to Isolation Station, who helped to bring our multi-faceted event online!
We invite those who can to donate to our charity partners - Hastings Supports Our NHS & Friends of the Conquest Hospital - both of whom have done incredible work providing PPE and other items to the incredible NHS staff and volunteers in our town and beyond.

SUNDAY MAY 3
10.15AM - 3.45PM
We are pleased to say that Sunday’s Procession will remain virtually unchanged from this year’s planned schedule, with hundreds of people performing from their homes in Hastings and beyond.
The first section from 10.15 - 1.00pm(ish) mirrors the real procession with a mixture of live morris dancing, drumming, giants, bogies and all of the characters you would normally see, intercut with footage from years gone by of us all following Jack through the old town.
At 1.00pm we ‘reach the hill’ where we can all sit back and watch a series of beautiful performances, some of which are pre-recorded especially for this year, some of which are live streamed in real time.
And of course the most important part of our beloved festival is the audience themselves - we explain how you can be featured from your homes below.
